- Can this person do the job? Do they have the skills, education, and work experience to do this job. Or, can they be trained to do this job?
- Will the person be able to perform the job in the way the company desires?
- Is this person a fit with our organization? Is the candidate a fit with the corporate culture?
- Physical Skills Tips:
- Look the interviewer in the eye.
- Sit up straight in your chair. Don't slouch. Don't lean on the back of the chair.

If the interviewer were to say "Tell me about yourself", plan how you would respond. This is a great opportunity for you to highlight your background and skills, but many people squander this opportunity by rambling. In only a few minutes, be able to give an overview of your background and how it fits with the position. You also might mention very significant accomplishments from your background.

Come up with 15 to 20 stories that demonstrate how you are qualified for the job. Some examples: a story about successfully implementing a project, leading a team, or dealing with adversity. Be sure and include specific examples of the actions you took and the results you received.
